VEX EDR is an innovative robotics design platform geared towards education initiatives that span science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Beyond science and engineering principles, a VEX Robotics project encourages teamwork, leadership and problem solving among groups. It also allows educators to easily customize projects to meet the level of students’ abilities. VEX IQ is a robotics platform designed to transform STEM learning for young students and their teachers. Students as young as 8 can jump right in and snap robots together using the intuitive, tool-less platform while educators can utilize the free VEX IQ Curriculum to help teach students valuable lessons and skills that are needed in today’s changing world.
Teams that qualify to the 2017 California State Championship will be able to choose one of the three sites where they would like to compete as long as that site has space available. Teams that move on to the World Championship Event in Louisville, Kentucky will be responsible for registering for the World Championship event promptly as they will only have a ONE week window to register before their invitation to Worlds becomes void.
